14 new movies and shows on Zee5, Voot Select, Netflix and more to choose from

Like most other weeks in 2022, this week’s OTT new releases also include big headlines. While the usual number is between six and eight new titles, we have over a dozen new OTT releases this week. What’s more, the content is also balanced across different platforms, meaning you’ll have something new to binge on even if you don’t subscribe to many streaming services.

1. Cirque S7 – Voot Select

Come one, come all The circus, the groundbreaking documentary series that lifts the curtain on American politics. Hosts John Heilemann, Mark McKinnon, Alex Wagner and Jenn Palmieri take a weekly behind-the-scenes look at the world’s biggest political show for an unbiased inside look at the stories beyond the headlines.

2. Last Man Standing – Netflix

The last one standing is a new Japanese comedy talk show starring the popular and powerful Japanese comedy duo Chidori. 24 comedians and talents will engage in talk battles to take the next step in a thrilling drama with strong actors. Part of the script is unscripted and the actors are tasked with sharing their stories, in their own words. It’s like a squid game comedians. If their jokes don’t land in the unscripted scenes, they’re out of the show.

3. The Diaries of Andy Warhol – Netflix

From executive producer Ryan Murphy and director Andrew Rossi, this incredible six-part portrait of a legend chronicles the remarkable life of Andy Warhol from the intimate perspective offered by the artist’s own posthumously published diaries. Beginning with his childhood in Pittsburgh, the series traces Warhol’s almost incredibly diverse journey, moving fluidly between mediums and through eras as an artist – both revered and reviled – director, editor, television producer , scene maker, celebrity and much more.

4. Queer Eye Germany – Netflix

Queer Eye Germany is the first international export of the hit American reality format. Experts Leni Bolt, David Jakobs, Jan-Henrik Scheper-Stuke, Aljosha Muttardi and Ayan Yuruk guide their mentees to open the door to a new and better chapter in life. Over the course of five episodes, the Fab 5 inspire positive change in the stories of their five everyday heroes – including a young football coach’s coming out, a single dad’s return to dating and the journey of a shaken young woman to finally enjoy life.

5. Anamika – MX Player

Anamika is Sunny Leone’s second series collaboration with MX Player and ALTBalaji. The action-thriller series will follow the actress as she plays an undercover agent who has gone rogue. It is directed by filmmaker Vikram Bhatt and also stars actors Sonnalli Seygall, Rahul Dev, Samir Soni, Shehzad Shaikh and Ayaz Khan.

6. Loving Life and Everything – Netflix

Romance, drama and dark humor intertwine in this anthology series developed by Egyptian screenwriter Azza Shalaby exploring love at large and relationships up close with stories from Egypt, Lebanon, Palestine, Arabia Saudi Arabia, Morocco and Tunisia. The diverse and genre-spanning collection includes eight short films from directors Khairy Beshara, Kaouther Ben Hania, Hany Abu-Assad, Amira Diab, Michel Kammoun, Mahmoud Sabbagh, Sandra Bassal, Abdulmohsen Aldhabaan and Hicham Lasri.
