Gossip Girlit’s Leighton Meester directs this new thriller as a woman named Beth who finds herself on suspicion of murder after her best friend (Christina Wolfe) is found dead during a girls’ trip to Croatia. As she searches for clues to clear her name, Beth must also wonder if there is something she might have blocked in her memory and if she is capable of doing what she has been accused of. The weekend is based on the novel of the same name by Sarah Alderson.

Chadwick Boseman and Sienna Miller in 21 Bridges

In one of by Chadwick Boseman latest movies, 2019 21 bridges, he plays an NYPD detective who presides over an unprecedented night. To catch two men who gunned down multiple cops in a shootout, authorities essentially lock down Manhattan, closing off every avenue they have to escape. But there’s a lot more to the story than Boseman’s Andre knows, and pursuing it brings him closer to the painful truth.

A New Anime Franchise Debuted 2001s Shreka fractured fairy tale about an ogre (Mike Myers) who embarks on a mission to save a beautiful princess with a secret (Cameron Diaz) in exchange for the villainous Lord Farquaad (John Lithgow) expelling all newcomers invading its once peaceful swamp. Three sequels, a spin-off movie and more Shrekrelated projects followed. Shrek 2 is also new to streaming on Netflix this month.

Owen Wilson, Christine Taylor, Will Ferrelland the late Jerry Stiller are part of the supporting roles.
