“Director Harry Bradbeer is composing the action for the sequel, which offers more mystery elements, which for devotees of Sherlock Holmes won’t be impossible to decipher long before the film reveals itself. And there’s always the issue of excessive length, with 129 minutes way too long for something that’s basically fluffy…” 3 out of 5 stars, Blu-ray.com

“Yes, 2 introduces new characters and, yes, it uses old ones, but none are there for any reason other than to advance the characters and the narrative. The writing remains sharp, the performance on point, and the commentary (as before) focused, all while delivering an intelligent and often joyous good time. 4 out of 5, Elements of madness

” …Enola Holmes 2 can be considered a successful sequel to the first film where viewers can enjoy more developed characters and a plot that features more twists and turns than the first. Where the first film attempts to establish itself as a feminist film with lighter undertones, the sequel dives into darker, sinister tones to accompany our now older protagonist. 8 out of 10, Culture Geek

” Everything on Enola Holmes 2 feels bigger than the original […] Writing staff Jack Thorne and Nancy Springer return to give this sequel a similar tone, while of course traveling into uncharted territory that requires personal growth on Enola’s part. The connections seem entirely relevant to the plot and the appropriate mystery time period. ” 4 out of 5, Josh at the movies

“Those who loved Cavill’s Sherlock in Enola Holmes will be especially happy to see him more involved in the sequel’s story, but that’s still Brown’s franchise. She’s become a powerhouse and continues to capitalize on her skills and charm to keep this film series engaging, and viewers will be won over by the better constructed mystery and delightful dynamic between the two Holmes siblings. Screen Rant

Enola Holmes 2 bends several interconnected genres, but it’s still a fun and entertaining watch you’ll never want to end. 4 out of 5, Solzy at the cinema
