Netflix adds 20 new movies and shows this week

It’s the first full week of June and Netflix is adding a bunch of new movies and shows to its lineup. This week is also about vampires and vampire hunters, Adam Sandler as a basketball scout and the final season of a family of British gangsters.

Who’s ready for vampires? First murder hits Netflix on Friday, June 10, 2022 and tells the story of a teenage vampire girl and the vampire hunter she falls in love with. The series is based on a news from VE Schwab and after reading this i am so excited to watch this new show.

The eight-episode series follows Juliet, a vampire, and Calliope, a vampire hunter. They are both about to make their first kill, but it turns out that their first kills might be each other. But what happens when they fall in love? To say their parents are unhappy would be an understatement.

Adam Sandler’s last film, Hustle, also hits Netflix this week on Wednesday, June 8. Sandler plays a “washed-up” basketball scout who thinks he’s finally gotten a break when he discovers an incredible street ball player in Spain. He sees this player as a way to get his career back on track and back in the NBA.

Besides Sandler, the film stars Ben Foster, Robert Duvall, Queen Latifah, Jaleel White, Juancho Hernangomez and Raúl Castillo.

The sixth and final season of Peaky Blinders is also heading to Netflix this week on Friday, June 10. Thomas Shelby and his gang suffer a massive loss, but as we meet them four years later, Tommy finds himself going into the opium business and aligning himself with one of his worst enemies.

And Aunt Polly, unfortunately, does not appear in this new season, due to the death of Helen McCrory.

Although there always seem to be plans for a Peaky Blinders film to conclude the series, it will be the last season of the series.
