1. SHARMAJI NAMKEEN – AMAZON PRIME VIDEO

Directed by Hitesh Bhatia, Sharmaji Namkeen is a light-hearted coming-of-age movie that you can’t miss. The film is a charming farewell to Rishi Kapoor, an actor who would light up the screen with his acting. It is one of the few films where the lead role is played by both Rishi Kapoor and Paresh Rawal, due to the shift from the former to the middle of the shot. BG Sharma, recently retired, wants to do something with his time. He takes an interest in cooking and soon starts working as a home cook specializing in women’s parties. His skills make him popular among the ladies, however, his family is ashamed of what he does. But he is determined to keep flying high.

2. THE BUBBLE – NETFLIX

Amazon Prime Video, Disney+ Hotstar, Netflix

Directed by Judd Apatow and starring Karen Gillan, Iris Apatow, Pedro Pascal, Leslie Mann, the comedy is about a group of actors and actresses stuck in a pandemic bubble in a hotel trying to finish a movie.

3. KNIGHT OF THE MOON – DISNEY+ HOTSTAR

The highly anticipated Marvel series also released this week. the six episodes will be the next MCU series to head to the streaming platform, after Wanda Vision, Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Loki set in 2022. Moon Knight follows Steven Grant, a mild-mannered gift shop employee who suffers from dissociative identity disorder. He begins to have blackouts, memories of another life only to release that he shares the body of mercenary Marc Spector.

4. ALL HAIL – NETFLIX

A famous TV weatherman, Miguel Flores, becomes public enemy number one when he fails to predict a terrible hailstorm. He is forced to leave the big city, Buenos Aires, fleeing the capital for his hometown of Cordoba. The result will be a journey of rediscovery as absurd as it is human.

5. APOLLO 10 1/2: A CHILDHOOD IN THE SPACE AGE

Director Richard Linklater is an American animated coming-of-age where a man tells stories of his life as a 10-year-old boy in 1969 Houston and spins a whimsical, nostalgic tale of his journey to the moon.

6. SING 2 – BOOKMYSHOW STREAM

The American computer-animated jukebox musical comedy film is directed by Garth Jennings and stars Tori Kelly, Reese Witherspoon, Taron Egerton and Nick Kroll.

7. DRIVING MY CAR – MUBI

drive my car is a 2021 Japanese drama road movie co-written and directed by Ryusuke Hamaguchi. It is mainly based on Haruki Murakami’s short story of the same name from his 2014 collection. men without women, while drawing inspiration from other stories it contains. Released on Mubi on April 1, this would be our top recommendation among new OTT releases this week.

8. BATTLE: FREESTYLE

The film is a sequel to the Norwegian dance feature Battle and is based on the book by internationally acclaimed writer Maja Lunde. Amalie is happy when she and Mikael’s dance team are selected to compete in Paris, however, she is distracted from her goal when she reunites with her estranged mother.

9. THE OUTLAWS – AMAZON PRIME VIDEO

A BBC production, The Outlaws is a comedy thriller series released on Amazon Prime Video where seven strangers from different backgrounds are forced to come together to do community service.

10. THE LAST BUS — NETFLIX

The last bus is an action-packed eco-fable that follows a group of mismatched college students on a school trip who become unlikely heroes when a robotic apocalypse zaps the rest of humanity.
