The Lost City, Midnight, Monstrous, and more
Do you like fun and mysterious places? Do you like Daniel Radcliffe? This week’s new movies on VOD feature lots of places that are fun (and also scary), mysterious, and sure to inject plenty of Radcliffe into your life! First there is The lost citya fun and mysterious place where Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum are forced to go on a treasure hunt, thanks to an unstable billionaire, played with malicious delight by Radcliffe.
In Monstrous, which is less fun and more scary, Christina Ricci plays an abused woman who moves with her son to a mysterious new house that may be home to demons coming for her. Also available now on VOD is the documentary Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts. Daniel Radcliffe has somehow managed to carve out a career that hasn’t pigeonholed him solely as Harry Potter thanks to his willingness to take on interesting roles that play against type (see: The lost cityabove), but he also knows where his roots are. Back to Hogwarts – Hogwarts being the epitome of fun and mysterious places, of course – which premiered in January on HBO Max, is a nostalgic look at the Harry Potter films, with moving and sweet interviews with most of the cast and film crew. Prepare to feel old when you see Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint as kids audition for their roles.
These are just a few of the titles available to watch on Amazon Prime Video, iTunes, YouTube, and through your cable service this week. Find out now which films are available for purchase or rental on demand!

Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Oscar Nuñez, Patti Harrison and Bowen Yang co-star, and the real treasure is there’s another very special cameo in the film that we won’t spoil if you haven’t heard of it. talk again.

Christina Ricci has perfected the art of playing a seemingly average woman with a very creepy and secretive side. She is brilliant in yellow jackets playing Missy, the nurse who has no problem kidnapping and killing people, and in Monstrousshe plays a housewife named Laura who runs away from her abusive ex, only to confront a demon (or whatever) in the new house she’s moving into.
