This could be the best weekend of 2022 for new movies and shows

The best blockbuster of the year (so far) and two of the greatest shows of all time are all coming out this weekend.

Usually, we’re lucky enough to have a great movie or must-see show every week, but this week… wow. We are very spoiled this week, gang!

To start, here are the films which will all be available on big screens in Ireland from Friday 27th May.


36 years after the original, Tom Cruise returns with his need for speed seemingly in no way diminished. He was chosen to train some of the best new recruits for very dangerous missions. The action looks amazing, and the behind-the-scenes footage below shows just how real some of it was for the cast and crew.

After 12 seasons (and counting) of the much-loved series so far, Bob and his family are finally coming to the big screen. When a sinkhole suddenly opens up at the entrance to their burger restaurant, they must try to save their business and also unravel a mystery that could be the answer to all their problems.

We absolutely loved the first season of The Flight Attendant, so we’re excited to spend more time with Cassie Bowden (Kaley Cuoco), who is trying to successfully juggle her career as a flight attendant and agent. CIA infiltration. Of course, everything goes wrong when she witnesses a murder with enormous international implications.

All episodes are available with your NOW Entertainment subscription starting Thursday, May 26.


Set after the events of Revenge of the Sith but before A New Hope, this season will fill in the gaps of what Obi-Wan (Ewan McGregor) and Darth Vader (Hayden Christensen) did before a certain Skywalker began to restore balance. in the Force.

Darkness returns to Hawkins just in time for spring break, unleashing new terror, unsettling memories – and the threat of war. The first seven episodes (which will each be AT LEAST an hour long) will land on Netflix on Friday, May 27, before the second half of this season arrives in July.
